Visitation Time & Rules
Parents, step-parents, grandparents and legal guardians are allowed to visit on the following days for all units:
- Sunday: 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
- Wednesday: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. see below for details
- Thursday: 8:00 am -10:00 am for one hour, by appointment only. Please contact your child's Case Manager for an appointment.
Authorized visitors are required to present valid photo identification before being screened for entry. Anyone who is not authorized to visit the child will not be allowed to enter the building. We ask that siblings not be on Center grounds, as they will not be allowed to enter the building under any circumstance. If the days and hours are not compatible with your schedule, please contact the Case Manager assigned to your child and special arrangements for visitation can be made.
No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be allowed to visit. If we suspect that a visitor may be under the influence, they will be asked to leave the building. Failure to comply with instructions may result in law enforcement being contacted. Remember that visitation is a privilege that can be suspended or canceled.
We ask that no items such as purses, handbags, cell phones or duffel bags be brought into the building during visitation. Visitors will be asked to leave their coats and jackets in their vehicles or in the entrance area during their visit. Also, no food, candy, drinks, magazines, electronic devices, books, etc. will be allowed without prior authorization. Please be advised that there is absolutely no smoking in the building or within 25 feet of any entrance. Visitors are expected to observe and follow all signage regarding prohibited items. Knowingly bringing or attempting to bring prohibited items into the facility may result in law enforcement being contacted and criminal charges be filed against such person. In addition, this can result in visitation privileges being removed.
No letters, notes, cards or photographs can be brought in for any resident. These items can only be mailed to the facility.
Your child's Case Manager contact information is available online. The Case Managers work a rotating schedule, with various work hours.
Wednesdays, from 7 to 8 p.m. Individual residents must notify a Case Manager by the Sunday before so necessary arrangements can be made. Residents must indicate who they are inviting as well as their age, and relationship to them. Only family members 18 years or older are allowed to visit. Family members include; siblings, parents, and grandparents. Residents can also request food for Special Visitations.
