Jon Hinkelman serves the residents of Berrien County's 2nd District.
District 2 includes:

Village of Eau Claire (Berrien Township Precinct 2 and Pipestone Twp, Precinct 1)
Village of Berrien Springs (Berrien Township Precinct 2)
Jon currently serves on the Finance Committee as the Vice Chairperson. Commissioner Hinkelman also serves on the:

Education, Service, & Experience
Jon Hinkelman graduated from Watervliet High School and Southwestern Michigan College. He is a Countryside Academy Board Member, on the Welch Food Board of Directors, and sits on the National Grape Cooperative Board of Directors. He is the Founder of the Countryside Rural Education Corporation. Jon is a Michigan Farm Bureau Member and is a 39-year Member of the National Grape Cooperative Association. He has received the Cherry Marketing Institute Distinguished Service Award, has been named Conservation Farmer of the Year for the St. Joseph River District and is a published author in seven different periodicals.
Jon has been a resident of Watervliet his entire life, . He and his wife of 39 years, Diane, have three children, Adrianne, Levi, and John and nine grandchildren.
