Sheriff associationThe BCSD is pleased to announce the formation of Victim Services Teams that are in place to help families cope with the loss of a loved one, assist a victim of a crime, or provide solutions to those in time of need.

Victim Services Unit volunteers can be requested by any police department, fire department or hospital within the county, or by the victims themselves.  Members of the unit will respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week to the scene, police department or agencies involved.

Victim Services Teams are trained by the Michigan Sheriffs' Association and directed by your sheriff's office in order to provide short-term crisis intervention to victims and their families.

I wear a seatbelt because:
I feel safer when driving and I know it will protect me.
I do not want to pay a ticket.
I only put it on when I see the police.
I never wear it.
