Crime of the Week


This is D/Lt. Fred Laesch of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department for Crime Stoppers.  The crime of the week comes from the files of the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety.

On October 31, 2017 at approximately 8:37 PM the Benton Harbor DPS was dispatched the H and B Liquor Store located at 284 Broadway Ave., in the City of Benton Harbor in reference to an armed robbery.  Two unknown male subjects wearing all black clothing entered the store and were armed with handguns and were able to obtain US currency before fleeing from the store.   

Crime Stoppers wants the persons responsible for this armed robbery and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest.  Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
