Programs for Schools & Kids

The Berrien County Sheriff's Office has several programs designed specifically for kids of all age groups.

TEAM (Teaching, Educating, And Mentoring) School Liaison Program is a school-based "law related" education program with different lessons available for elementary, middle, and high school students.




Explorer Post 602 provides educational training programs for young adults between the ages of 14 and 21 on the purposes, mission, and objectives of law enforcement.






Sheriff's Kids Camp is an annual two-day camp for 4th and 5th graders that will provide your children with safety tips and presentations with hands-on demonstrations by Berrien County Sheriff’s Office, Buchanan PD, Coloma PD, Andrew’s University Campus Police and other local Law Enforcement Agencies, Fire and EMT professionals.
